Entrance Exam of EAMCET 2014

The EAMCET 2014 Entrance Exam will be conducted on 17 May 2014. The official authority of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) will conduct the exam on behalf of Andhra Pradesh state council of higher education (APSCHE) for all those applicants interested in pursuing engineering, medical or architecture at undergraduate level. In order to appear for the entrance exam, the candidates will have to fill the application form appropriately by meeting the set eligibility criteria. For taking admission in respective or affiliated colleges, the applicants are required to give the entrance exam conducted to test the candidate’s basic knowledge about Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects. EAMCET 2014 Eligibility Criteria:

  • For appearing in the EAMCET 2014 entrance exam, the applicant must be an Indian citizen, overseas citizen of Indian card- holder or Person of Indian origin.
  • As on 31 December 2013, the applicant must have attained the age of 16 years.
  • The applicant must have had Physics, Chemistry & Maths as compulsory subjects and Biology or Biotechnology as optional subject.
  • In order to be eligible, the applicant must have qualified the class XII exam or any equivalent exam recognized by the state board or central board of education.
  • The general or open category candidates must have scored minimum of 45% marks in their qualifying exam while, the SC/ST candidates must have got 40% marks in the qualifying exam.
