JEE Main 2015 Application Form

The Application Form of JEE Main 2015 will be made available for the aspirants in the month of November 2014. To be eligible to appear in the JEE Main 2015 Entrance Exam, the aspirants must fill and submit the JEE Main 2015 Application Form which will be available in online mode only i.e. on the official website of JEE Main 2015. Facilitation centres will be set up at various cities to provide assistance to the applicants for the application form filling and fee payment.

The applicants will require a few documents for filling the information in the JEE Main 2015 Application Form. The list of documents required are given here as below-

  • Mark sheet of Standard 10th and 12th

  • Scanned image of candidate’s Photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression to be uploaded (as per the recommended specifications)

  • Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking details for payment of application fee

  • E-challan receipt and payment details (in case of offline fee payment by bank challan)

Procedure to fill JEE Main 2015 Application Form

  • Visit the JEE Main official website and browse through the link on the homepage indicated as “ Online Registration” – JEE Main 2015 Application Form

  • A window will appear where you will be required to enter the required details pertaining to personal, educational qualification, contact details etc.

  • You will be entering details with respect to the choice of your test centre and the mode of appearing in the entrance test.

  • Then you will proceed to payment of application fee.

Mode of payment of Application Fees

Following are the mode applicable for payment of application fee-

  1. Via Bank e-challan

  • Download a soft copy of e-challan from the JEE Main 2015 official website

  • Print the e-challan

  • Visit the nearest CBS branch of Canara Bank, Syndicate Bank or ICICI Bank along with the e-challan printed copy for payment of fee

  • You must retain the transaction receipt provided by the Bank.

  1. Via Credit/Debit card

  • On choosing the online mode for fee payment, you will be required to enter the details pertaining to your Credit/Debit card number, CVV code and password.

  • Then Press submit button and make fee payment of the requisite amount.

Documents to be uploaded in JEE Main 2015 Application Form

  1. Photograph Specifications –

Recommended specifications for uploading the scanned image of photograph in the Application Form:

  • The photograph has to be latest and must be clearly visible

  • Not advisable to wear or hat while clicking the photograph

  • Candidate’s shoulders and face must be clearly visible

  • Name of the candidates and date on which the photo has been clicked must be printed at the bottom of the photograph.

Signature Specifications-

  • Draw a rectangular box of dimensions 7×2 cm with a pencil on a plane white paper

  • Sign within the rectangular box with black or blue ball pen

  • Scan the paper digitally with a scanner

  • Size of the scanned image may vary from 1 to 30 kb and image must be 3.5 x 1.5 cm in dimensions.

Thumb Impression Specifications

  • Draw a rectangular box of dimensions 7×2 cm with a pencil on a plane white paper

  • Use a black/blue inked thumb pad and firmly put your left hand thumb impression on the pad and press the thumb on the rectangular box

  • Female applicants must use their right hand thumb for the impression

  • Finally scan the paper digitally with a scanner and cut the image to the rectangular box

  • Size of the scanned image of thumb impression may vary from 1 to 30 kb and image must be 3.5 x 1.5 cm in dimensions

At last, generate a print out of the JEE Main 2015 Application Form for your future record and reference and download the system generated acknowledgment slip.

Manipal University 2015

Manipal University 2015 Entrance Exam is conducted by Manipal University to facilitate admission in its engineering professional degree course offered in the participating Institutes. Manipal University is a deemed university situated in Manipal, Karnataka. The Entrance Exam will be held in online mode for duration of one month from mid April to mid May 2015.

MU OET 2015 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission in the Participating Institutes, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria as specified here below:

  • Applicant must have successfully passed class 12th final exam or A Level or IB or American 12th grade or equivalent qualifying examination with latest 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics & any one of the optional subjects from – Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology.

MU OET 2015 Application Form

Manipal University 2015 Application Form has been release on 16th September 2014. Candidates must visit the official website and register themselves to fill MU OET 2015 Application Form which is available in online mode as well as offline mode.

1. Online Application – MU OET 2015 Application Form

Procedure of online application is –

  • Logon to the official website of Manipal University 2015 Fill all the required details in MU OET 2015 Application Form
  • Finally, pay the prescribed application fee of Rs. 600/- plus exam fee of Rs.1000/- via Net Banking, Debit/ Credit Card, Demand Draft.

2. Offline Application – MU OET 2015 Application Form

  • Logon to the official website of MU OET 2015 and print the MU OET 2015 Application Form
  • Fill in application form and then send the completed application Form and application fee of Rs. 1600/- in the form of Demand Draft to the Manipal University office. The demand draft is to be drawn in favour of “Manipal University” payable at Udupi or Manipal.

3. In Person Mode of Application:

  • Buy the application form from the designated branches of State Bank of India (SBI) and Syndicate Bank by making payment of the prescribed application fee.

4. Postal Method of MU OET 2015 Application Form

  • Send a request letter Manipal University office to send you the MU OET 2015 Application Form by post. Attach a Demand Draft of Rs.1600/- with request letter and a self-addressed envelope at the following address:

MU OET 2015 Cutoff, Marks

Manipal University 2015 CutOff is the criteria of the minimum score that is executed by the University to demarcate the number of candidates for counselling and in order to offer admission to the most deserving candidates in the engineering courses at the Manipal University. The idea of implementing the said criteria by the University is that the number of candidates being higher than the number of seats available so there is need to demit the number of candidates. The CutOff is decided by the examination board and is arrived at after keeping in consideration certain factors like number of applicants, number of seats, etc. Candidates who will score marks equal to or more than the MU OET 2015 CutOff will be shortlisted to be included in the merit list. The names of such candidates will be enlisted in the Merit list in the increasing order of their ranks or the decreasing order of marks).

SCRA 2015 Entrance Exam

SCRA 2015 Exam will tentatively be held on 18th January 2015 for the recruitment of Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA) in Mechanical Department of Indian Railways. This exam is administered and conducted by Union Public service commission (UPSC). The official notification will be released by UPSC on its website on 11th October 2014. Candidates will be required to apply to be able to sit in the SCRA 2015 Exam.

Eligibility Criteria for SCRA 2015

Candidate must be informed of the eligibility criteria to be eligible to fill the SCRA 2015 Application form and take SCRA 2015 Exam. SCRA 2015 Eligibility Criteria as laid down by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is detailed here as-

  • Candidates must be an Indian Nationality or Person of Indian Origin or Non–Residential Indian (NRI)
  • Applicant should have at least passed 12th class or any equivalent exam with 1st or 2nd division from a Government recognized board or university
  • She/he must have studied Maths and Physics or Chemistry as compulsory subjects in 12th class
  • As on 1st August 2015, Applicants must be at least 17 years of age and should not be more than 21 years of age. Relaxation of upper age limit for reserved category candidates applicable as per GOI rules
  • The candidates must be physically fit as per UPSC norms.

SCRA 2015 Application Form

Eligible and interested candidates will be able to fill the online application form from 12th October 2014 onwards and pay the prescribed application fee for SCRA 2015 exam . Application through any other mode is not applicable except online mode. Application Form for SCRA 2015 is divided into two parts – Part I and Part II.

PART 1 – Online Registration

Instructions-

  • Logon to the website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
  • Click on the link “Apply Online”
  • To Register, fill the required details carefully in the registration form
  • Pay the required application fee via offline or online mode

PART 2 – Online Registration

Instructions-

  • After successful s in PART- II Registration candidates will have to upload the scanned image of signature and photograph
  • Finally, submit your application form
  • A system-generated Registration id will appear on the computer screen, you are advised to note it down for future reference

Application Fee of SCRA 2015

  • SC/ST/PwD candidates/ Females are exempted from Payment of Fee
  • For rest of the candidates , application fee is Rs. 100/-
  • The fee can be paid through online mode through internet banking and in offline mode by generating e-challan for fee payment at the post office or Indian Bank

SCRA 2015 Exam Pattern

  • There are three 3 papers in the Exam-
  • Paper 1   – General Ability Test,
  • Paper 2 – Physical Sciences
  • Paper 3- Mathematics
  • Duration of each paper is 120 minutes
  • Total Marks of each paper – 200
  • Total Exam Duration- 360 Minutes or 6 hours
  • Maximum Marks in the exam-   600

Negative Marking – 1/3rd of the mark of the question will be deducted for wrong answer marked by the candidates.

Note- Candidates who will qualify the Exam of SCRA 2014 will be called for interview or personality test which will carry 200 marks.
