BPCL Recruitment through Gate 2017 – BPCL announced the recruitment of engineering graduates through Gate Exam 2017. BPCL Recruitment through Gate 2017 is for the Mechanical and Chemical Engineering disciplines only. Applications will be available online from January 6, 2016 till February 10, 2016. Eligibility Criteria for BPCL Recruitment through Gate 2017:

The parameters of eligibility and the criteria to be fulfilled are as follows –

  • Nationality – Indian Nationals Only
  • Age Limit as on June 1, 2017 – For General candidates, maximum 25 years. For OBC (NCL), maximum 28 years. For SC and ST, maximum 30 years. For J & K domiciled candidates between 1.1.1980 to 31.12.1989, age relaxation given is up to 5 years. For Ex-service Men and Commissioned Officers, age relaxation given is up to 5 years
  • Academic Qualifications – candidates must have passed a full time 4 year program of B.Tech or B.E or equivalent from a recognized University or Institute. Final year candidates can apply provided they furnish proof of their eligibility by August 31, 2017. Candidates holding integrated degrees which are of 5 years or more are not eligible
  • Pass percentage of the qualifying degree – Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% in aggregate in their degree. Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates have relaxation up to 55%
  • Gate requirements: Candidates must have qualified Gate 2017 with valid scores

How to Apply for BPCL Recruitment Process through Gate 2017:

Link to the recruitment process will be provided below  :-

  • Candidates will have to enter their personal details, academic details and any other necessary details
  • After Submission of the Application form, they will receive a unique BPCL Application number which must be kept safe for future use
  • Candidates also need to download and keep a printed copy of the of their BPCL Application which will be needed during the interview process
  • The email ID of the candidates and their Gate 2017 Registration number will be the log in details for the BPCL applicants

Candidates have to affix a photograph to the BPCL application. This photo must be identical to the one used in Gate 2017
