SBI PO Cut-off To Be Out Soon

People who have applied for SBI PO Exam 2015, now is the high time as your efforts will face their fate. Yes, state bank of India will release the SBI PO exam cut-off for the exam held. This introduction of cut-off to the appearing candidates will help the bank in executing their goal of selecting the deserving and eligible candidates. These deserving candidates will then be asked to appear in further rounds such as group discussion and personal interview.

Now talking about what exactly this cut-off is, we would like to move on to our first sub-heading.

Defining Cut-off-

This cut-off is nothing but the first obstacle which sets a limit in front of the appearing candidates. This obstacle is none other than the minimum marks set by the bank. And if you wish to move on to the next stage, your efforts need to be strong enough to tackle that obstacle, stated earlier. Moreover, if the person who has appeared in the SBI PO exam has scored marks equal to or more than that of this SBI PO 2015 cut-off, than it’s a crystal clear way for him/her to move on to the next level. Moving further, we will discuss the facts that are considered for cut-off.

Facts to be considered for SBI PO cut-off-

Clearly, this is quite simple that if one clears this SBI PO cut-off then no doubt, he/she is clearly the eligible qualifier and can move on to next round of selection. But, certainly there are certain facts that are considered for cut-off which are discussed as you read further.

Scoring high marks-

Do not worry about this obstacle, just score as much as you can. No matter, the higher the score is, more are the chances of you clearing the cut-off.

Number of Vacancies-

This cut-off is certainly set after considering the number of posts available for SBI PO. This means that the more is the availability, the less will be the cutoff.

Exam Level-

This fact runs on a simple rule, stating that “if the exam difficulty level is high then the cut-off will be less.”

Pass Percentile-

This is somewhat a second name to cut-off. So, initially you need to score much higher so that more number of candidates are left behind. Clearly, the more is pass percentile, the more will be the SBI PO cut-off 2015.

Reservation Norms-

State bank of India sets different cut-offs for different categories.
Various other factors such as recruitment records and previous year cut-off is also taken into consideration while setting the cut-off for the current year exam.

Expectations for SBI PO cut-off 2015-

This year the cut off for SBI PO 2015 exam is expected to touch 150 marks. These marks are for GE category candidates and are calculated out of the total marks. i.e., 250. So, clearly we hope that your marks must cross these expected marks in order to be a qualifier candidate for the next round. Whereas, for the SC/ST candidates it is expected to be 128.
