How to Calculate NEET Score – National Testing Agency will release the result of NEET via online mode. 1st Step: Candidates must download the answer key and response sheet from the official website of NTA  (https://ntaneet.nic.in/ntaneet/welcome.aspx)

2nd Step: Check the correct responses from the answer key and compare with the response sheet.

3rd Step: Calculate and note down the number of correct and incorrect answers.

4th Step: Calculate the overall score using the formula-

Total marks in NEET= (Number of correct responses) x4 – (Number of incorrect answers) x1

5th Step: Further, aspirants can use the calculated score to estimate their NEET rank.

NEET Answer Key and Response Sheet

The officials release the answer key and response sheet of NEET after the completion of the entrance test. Candidates can download the answer key and response sheets from the first week of October 2020 (tentative) via online mode. Using the answer key and response sheet, candidates can easily estimate their NEET score. As stated above, aspirants must add 4 marks for each correct answer and subtract 1 mark for every incorrect response.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), with the help of subject-matter experts, reconfirms whether all the questions in the examination were correct or not. In case of any incorrect/invalid question, NTA releases a notification specifying the number of questions that were found to be incorrect or invalid. For such questions, all the aspirants who appear for the examination will be awarded full marks (irrespective of whether they have attempted said questions or not).
