CSAB 2015 Important Date Released

CSAB stands for Central Seat Allocation Board. It conducted seat allotment process for the candidates for admission in NITs, GFTIs, IIITs, etc. Till 2014, all these processes were handled by CSAB but from 2015 all these processes will be conducted by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). As the JEE Main 2015 and JEE Advanced 2015 exam has been conducted and the counselling process is just about to start therefore we are providing all the CSAB  Important Date 2015 so that candidates do not miss any important event related to seat allocation procedure.
Counselling process will be conducted for admission in IITs, NITs, GFTIs, IIITs, etc. For the JEE Main 2015 qualified candidates, counselling will be conducted for admission of candidates to academic programs at IIITs. Home state candidates can take admission in NITs and Birla Institute of Technology. Other admission features are also available on the official website.
According to CSAB 2015 Important Date, the JEE Main choice filling process will start from 25 June 2015. Candidates will have to choose the options for colleges and courses on the basis of priority. Seat allocation will be done on the basis of JEE Main AIR. The candidates those who have qualified the JEE Main 2015 exam will only be able to qualify in the exam. Counselling will be conducted in two rounds. In first round candidates will have to provide their choices for the college and in the next round they will have to lock their choices. Candidates must make sure that the choices locked by them are final as any changes in the choices will not be allowed after the locking of choices.
Important events and CSAB Important Date are provided in this section. Candidates can start filling their choices for institutes from 25 June 2015. It will be available till 29 June 2015. Mock seat allocation will be displayed on 28 June 2015. Seat allocation round for first round will be done on 1 July 2015 and acceptance of seat will be done from 2 July 2015 to 6 July 2015. Second round seat allocation will start from 7 July 2015 and seat acceptance will be from 8 July 2015 to 11 July 2015. Seat allocation for third round will be done on 12 July 2015. Candidates must keep themselves ready with all the prior preparations for the counselling and seat allocation process.
