UPSEE 2016 Counselling would start from 16 June 2016 for those candidates who qualify the UPSEE 2016 Examination for admission in engineering UG courses in the participating private and public colleges of the state. The process of counselling would continue till 11 August 2016. 20% of the seats in the colleges would be reserved for admission thru JEE Main 2016 Exam. Rest of the admissions would be done thru Uttar Pradesh SEE 2016 Exam. Read the following article for more information on counselling, seat allotment process, and the stages involved.

UPSEE 2016 Counselling cum Allotment Process:
Stage 1 (Registration for Counselling)
Candidates have to download counselling letter from the official website by entering course, roll number, and date of birth.
Stage 2 (Document Verification)
Candidates have to report to the document verification center to get the documents verified. Call for document verification would be made as per the schedule. They have to submit original documents along with a set of photocopies for authentication. The UPSEE Counselling 2016 letter has to be submitted at the verification center. Deposit the counselling fee at this stage. Once the process of verification is complete, a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent. This OTP is to be entered to login to fill choices.
Stage 3 (Choice Filling)
Candidates have to fill choices of colleges and courses in the decreasing order of preference in this stage of UPSEE 2015 Counselling. It is suggested to fill as many choices as possible to increase the chance of allotment. Before the deadline, a candidate can add, remove, and rearrange choices as many times as he wants. Candidate can visit any verification center for help in choice filling.
Stage 4 (Seat Allotment)
Allotment would be done as per the rank secured in the UPTU 2015 Examination. Candidate with higher marks (lower rank) would get preference in allotment. Result of allotment can be seen on the official website of UPTU, by entering roll number and password. After checking the allotment, candidate must report to the same verification centre where they got their documents checked. If a candidate wishes to upgrade, he must specify new set of options otherwise he must confirm the allotment.
UPSEE 2016 Counselling Fee
Candidates have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.500 (non-refundable) in DD drawn in favor of ‘Finance Officer, UPTU, Lucknow’ payable at verification centre city of the candidate. Candidate has to make payment of admission fee as well to get enrolled. Without payment of fee, admission would not be granted in the allotted college.
