Detailed Information about NMAT 2015 Result for MBA Admissions

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies  (NMIMS) will shortly release NMAT 2015 Result, which is expected to be announce on 22 January 2015. Candidates may check their scores by visiting the official website of NMAT 2015. The candidates will have to enter NMAT 2015 ID and Date of Birth to check their result. Make sure you do not enter any space, hyphens etc while typing your ID and  Date of Birth.  NMAT 2015 Result/scaled scores for Window 1,2 and 3 has been declared till now.  The result for the subsequent windows will be announced lately.

NMIMS conducts an online aptitude test known as NMAT to seek meritorious candidates for admission to the  postgraduate management courses – MBA, PGDM, and PGDMB at its Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad campus. NMAT 2015 Exam is scheduled to be held in a 75 days online window from  7th October, 2014 to 20th December, 2014.

NMIMS has an edge over all other Management entrance test as it provides overall 3 chances to the aspirants. One is original take and other two are referred as the re-takes. Any candidate who is not satisfied with his/her performance in the original can take two re-takes.   The best score out of all three attempts will be considered for the calculation of percentile and rankings. The last date of the exam is 20th December, 2014. NMIMS will declare the final NMAT 2015 Result disclosing the percentile scores of the candidates on 22nd January, 2015 after all the candidates would have taken the test.

NMAT 2015 is comprised of three sections –

  • Language Skills  –      32 questions
  • Quantitative Skills –   48 questions
  • Logical Reasoning  – 40 questions
  • Total number of questions  –  120 questions

    It is quite  important for the students to perform well overall in  the test as well as  in all the sections to qualify the test since there is sectional cut-offs in the exam which a candidate is supposed to clear to get through this phase to  appear in the further round of selection. Therefore, the minimum percentile criteria is implemented for shortlisting the candidates for the further rounds of section which is Case Discussion( CD) and Personal Interviews (PI). The schedule for both will be notified on the official website. The institutes takes into account certain other parameters as well while making final selection of the candidates for admissions. The parameters that are considered other than the scores are the candidate’s academic records, past work experience, extra-curricular achievements etc. The merit list/NMAT 2015 Result of the selected candidates is expected to be released in the first week of March,2015.
