Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test (CG PET) 2015

Directorate of Technical Education conducts Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test. It is a state level entrance exam for the admission of candidates in various undergraduate courses. Qualifying candidates can take admission in one of the participating colleges. CG PET 2015 will be conducted in May 2015. To apply for the exam, candidates must be completely eligible as per the conditions. The eligibility conditions required to be fulfilled for the exam are:

Candidate’s age must be minimum 17 years and maximum age allowed is 30 years. However, relaxation has been provided for the candidates as per the norms.
Minimum marks that must have been scored by them in qualifying exam is 45%. Chemistry, mathematics and physics are the compulsory subjects. This minimum marks for reserved category candidates is 40%.
They must be permanent residence of Chhattisgarh.

There have been some reservation norms as per the CG PET 2015. Reservation of 12% in seats have been provided to the candidates of SC category. ST candidates have been provided reservation on 32% seats. For OBC candidates of Non Creamy layer, 14% seats reservation has been provided.
