KEAM 2015 Exam Format, Admit Card Details

KEAM or the Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical test is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exam (CEE), Thiruvananthapuram for admissions to various professional degree courses.The engineering entrance exam of KEAM 2015 is scheduled to be conducted from 20 April 2015 to 21 April 2015, while the entrance exam for medical courses is scheduled to be conducted from 22 April 2015 to 23 April 2015. The entrance exam will be conducted in all the districts of the state of Kerala as well as cities outside the state such as New Delhi, Dubai, Mumbai, Shillong and Ranchi. In this article, the exam pattern of keam has been described briefly, so that candidates can get an idea of the marking scheme and the type of questions.

Exam Pattern of the Medical/ Engineering Entrance Exam of KEAM 2015:

Both the Engineering and Medical Entrance Exams of KEAM will have two papers. It is mandatory for candidates to attempt both the papers, in order to qualify in the entrance exam.Both the medical and engineering entrance exams of KEAM 2015, will consist of objective type questions only.A description of the model of the question paper has been given below:

  • In Part I of both the medical and engineering entrance exam of KEAM 2015, students will be tested on topics from the subjects of Physics and Chemistry.
  • Part II of the entrance exam will consist of topics from Mathematics or Biology for Engineering and medical courses respectively.
  • Students will be given a maximum duration of two and a half hours to complete each paper.Examinees will have to attempt 120 questions from each paper.
  • Only a single response should be indicated by the student out of the five answer options that are provided for each question.
  • The syllabus of the entrance exam will be broadly equivalent to the Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus of the Kerala State Education Board or similar educational boards such as the CBSE and ICSE.
  • A maximum of four marks will be awarded to the examinee, for each correct answer indicated by him/her and a deduction of one mark will be made for every incorrect answer indicated by the examinee.
  • Incase a candidate does not answer a particular question, deduction of marks will not be made.However, if a candidate has marked two or more answer options for a particular question, the answer will be deemed wrong and marks will be deducted for the question.

KEAM 2015 Admit card

Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical is a state level exam, which will be conducted from 20 to 23 April 2015. Application procedure for the exam has been concluded. Against the correctly submitted applications admit card will be issued, on 23 March 2015. Candidates will be able to download it online, against application number and date of birth. Candidates must carry it on exam day. As only those candidates will be granted permission to enter exam hall, who will succeed in producing KEAM admit card 2015, whenever required. Candidates should ensure that all the details in it should be correct and it should not be soiled or mutilated. Even after the exam, it must be preserved safely.
