Union Public Service Commission will conduct the CAPF 2015 Exam for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces. The CAPF 2015 Exam will comprise of two papers, both of which will be held on the same day. This article gives the CAPF 2015 Exam Pattern and syllabus.

The Union Public Service Commission conducts a Written Examination for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the CAPF or the Central Armed Police Forces. The Central Armed Police Forces includes eight Police Forces viz., the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF),Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP),Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), National  Security Guards(NSG), Railway Protection Force (RPF), the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and the Special Protection Group(SPG). The CAPF 2015 Exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission will comprise of two papers, which will be held simultaneously. This article gives a detailed description of the CAPF 2015 Exam Pattern.

Exam Pattern of UPSC CAPF 2015

The CAPF 2015 Exam will comprise of two separate papers, both of which will be held on the same day. The detailed scheme of the written examination is as given below:

  • Paper I: Part I of the UPSC CAPF Exam is a General Ability and Intelligence Test. This paper will have questions of Objective type only. The questions in Paper I of the UPSC CAPF 2015 will be set in English as well as Hindi. Candidates will be allotted a maximum time of two hours to complete this paper. The maximum total score of this paper is 250 Marks. In order to qualify for checking of Paper II of the UPSC CAPF Exam, it is mandatory that candidates clear Paper I  by securing the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by the Union Public Service Commission
  • Paper II: Part II of the written exam will include General Studies, Essay and Comprehension. Candidates will be allotted a maximum time of three hours to complete this paper. This paper will be descriptive in nature. The paper will be scored out of 200 marks
  • In Paper II of the written exam, candidates have the option of attempting the Essay Component in either Hindi or English. However, the remaining components of the paper which include Comprehension, Precis Writing and other language/communications skills can be attempted in English only. The Essay component will be for a maximum of 80 marks, while the remaining components of the paper will be for 120 marks

Syllabus for the UPSC CAPF Examination:

Syllabus for Paper I:

Paper I of the UPSC CAPF Examination will broadly cover questions on logical reasoning, data interpretation, quantitative aptitude, current events of international and national importance with specific reference to literature, music, arts, culture, sports, societal and developmental issues, governance,globalisation, business and industry and questions to test the candidates general awareness. This section will also test a candidate’s knowledge of the Country’s social and political system, constitution and History of the country including the growth of nationalism and the movement for freedom and other physical and social aspects of Geography pertaining to both India and the World.

Syllabus for Paper II:

In Part II of the written exam, the essay question that has to be answered can be on a topic ranging from  polity and economy, geography or security and human rights issues. Part B of the paper will comprise of comprehension passages, simple grammar, precis writing etc.

Expected cutoff for gate 2015 Exam

GATE 2015 Cut off score will be used by various Public Sector Undertakings (PSU’S) for recruiting engineers in entry level positions. This Graduate Aptitude Test will be organized across various selected test centres on national level.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, commonly known as GATE, is an exam conducted by IIT’S for admission in PG courses. GATE examination will be conducted in 2015 and the results will be announced on the official website. At the time of announcement of results, detailed list of the qualified candidates would be issued along with individual score card of each student. However, incase of this exam, it is not mandatory that only qualified candidates can see their results. All those candidates who have given the exam, can see their scores.

GATE 2015 Cut Off Score- Details

The benchmark of minimum marks set by committee of IIT’S to select the candidates for admission process is called as GATE 2015 Cut off Score. Under this exam, candidates who score equal or more than decided cut off score would be included in the merit list. However, various factors will be considered while finalising GATE cut off score. These factors are

  • Reservation Norms
  • Vacancy in various colleges
  • Total number of participating institutes
  • Applications Received
  • Admission trends
  • Exam difficulty level

Expected cutoff  for psu’s

Public Sector Undertakings (PSU’S) are the companies which are owned by central or state government.  Some of the PSU’S are- Coal India, MDL, ONGC India etc. If a candidate wants to get a job in PSU’s, he/she must have scored more than or equal to GATE cut off score 2015. So, candidates who are giving GATE 2015 exam can apply in PSU’s for getting a job.

GATE 2015 Expected cutoff for NIT Admissions

After the GATE results declaration, centralized counselling is conducted for M.Tech by NIT’s.  At the time of counselling, seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of GATE Cut off marks. In order to get admission in NIT through GATE 2015, candidates are advised to have a look on the scores mentioned below.

VITEEE 2016 Admit Card: Download Procedure

VITEEE 2016 is scheduled to be conducted from April 2016. The admit card for VITEEE is ordinarily issued by the end of March, just a few days before the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam. The VITEEE 2016 Admit Card will be uploaded on the official website of VIT, for registered candidates to download. Candidates should have however, completed slot booking to receive their admit cards. The Online Slot Booking system will be opened to candidates in the month of March 2016, tentatively, for candidates to schedule their test date and time and choose a test city of their choice. Once candidates have completed slot booking through the online test booking system, the VITEEE 2016 Admit Card will be issued to them. For candidates who have submitted unsigned or incomplete application forms however, the Institute will not issue an admit card. For directions on how to download the VITEEE 2016 Admit Card, candidates can refer the steps given below.

Directions to download the Admit Card for the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam:

  • The admit cards will be uploaded on the official website of VIT, vit.ac.in. Candidates should therefore open the given URL in a new browser tab
  • Candidates should then open the ‘E-Admit Card’ link provided at the top of the web page
  • To download their e-admit card, applicants will be asked to provide their Application Form Number and Online Test booking password
  • After these entries have been made, candidates should click on the ‘Submit’ button following which their e-admit card will be auto generated
  • Finally, click on the ‘Print’ button to secure a printout of the e-admit card. The printout of the e-admit card should be generated on A-4 size paper. Candidates should ensure that all the information, including their photograph has been printed clearly
  • The admit card will have a photograph of the student, the test date and time as selected by the candidate, the address of the test center and the e-admit card number. In case candidates notice any discrepancies, they are advised to notify VIT University of the same immediately
  • The University will also email a copy of the e-admit card to the candidate. The University will not however dispatch the admit cards to candidates through fax or post
  • No candidate will be permitted to appear for the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam without a valid copy of the e-admit card. Candidates should not mutilate or make any changes on their admit card once they receive the document
