KCET 2015 Admit Card will release on 15 April

KCET 2015 Admit Card is an important document for the candidates those who want to appear in KCET 2015. It will be available officially on 15 April 2015. Candidates have to check the website of KEA to download the admit card as it will be released via online mode only. No candidates will be able allowed inside the exam hall without the admit card. KCET 2015 will be conducted on 29 and 30 April 2015 and therefore it is necessary for board to release the admit card few days prior to exam date so that candidates can easily download it and make appropriate preparations.

As mentioned above that candidates will have to download their admit card from the website of KCET, and hence candidates need perfect guidance to do so. Below are the easy steps that will guide them to easily download their admit card:
1. Visit the website of KCET.
2. Search and click the link for KCET 2015 Admit Card.
3. Enter the details required there and submit the form by clicking the ‘Submit’ button.
4. Download the admit card and take a print out as well.

If candidates are not able to access internet services and want their admit card via offline mode then they can receive it from pre-assigned colleges. KEA will be collaborating with specific colleges and schools for distributing hall ticket. Candidates can visit these for their admit card.
The candidates those who have sent their application form via speed post will be receiving their KCET 2015 Admit Card via speed post only. Candidates must provide complete details for their residence address so that their admit card can easily be sent to them.

Admit card serve as candidates identity in examination hall therefore candidates must be sure that the details printed on it. Below we are providing the points that will provide the details for the various information printed on admit card.

  • Candidate’s name;
  • Their address;
  • Roll number;
  • Their photo;
  • Date, venue and time;
  • Few instructions.

If in case candidates do not receive their admit card on time then they must contact the principal of school or colleges from where the card was to be issued. Those receiving it from speed post must contact the Executive Director of KEA with a copy of their application form and other details of post.
Candidates must provide original admit card and no copy of soft copy will be accepted by the exam officials to allow candidates in exam hall.

NTSE Result for Stage 2 to be declared by NCERT

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) was introduced in 1963 for nurturing and identifying talented students of class X under the National Talent Search Scheme. It also aimed to award such talented students with NCERT scholarships. NTSE exam is conducted every year in various states for Stage 1 and thereafter Stage 2 examination is held at National level for all those students who qualify the Stage 1 examination.

Students studying in class X in recognized schools are all eligible to appear for Stage 1 of the NTSE examination from their respective states. Also Indian students studying abroad if fulfilling the conditions listed in the NTS brochure are eligible to apply directly for Stage 2 of the NTSE examination.

Students belonging to India but are studying outside India were required to fill in the online application form before 28 February 2015. No fees is charged for the Stage 2 NTSE examination. The Stage 1 NTSE examination was held on 01 & 02 November 2014 whereas the Stage 2 examination is held at National level and is scheduled to be conducted on 10 May 2015.

NCERT awards 1000 scholarships to the talented class X students. 15% NTSE scholarship is reserved for SC category students, 7.5% NTSE scholarship for ST category students and 3% NTSE scholarship for physically disabled category students. Rs. 1250/- per month as scholarship is awarded for Class XI-XII students, Rs. 2000/- per month for undergraduates & post-graduates students and the scholarship amount for Ph.D pursuing students is fixed as per UGC guidelines. For being awarded with the NTSE scholarship every year, student will have to pass every subject of class X and will also be mandatorily required to score an aggregate of 60% of marks. Students pursuing any diploma/certificate course will also be eligible to receive NTSE scholarship provided that such students will not be employed.

NTSE Result for stage 1 examination is announced by State Government/Union Territories whereas the result for stage 2 examination is declared by NCERT. For checking the NTSE Result of Stage 1, the students can follow the below stated steps –

  1. Students awaiting for stage 1 NTSE Result will firstly be required to access the official NTSE website.
  2. Then under the Programmes heading and sub heading NTSE, candidates will be able to view the Class X NTSE Result. The result will be published state wise.
  3. After clicking on the result link, the students will be directed to the page where the state wise NTSE result will be displayed.
