 The closing of the school academic session of brings forth a race for admission to the country’s top colleges. Although colleges offer various disciplines to study, yet engineering in various courses has always been one of the most sought after field as a choice of career in our country. Rating an educational system is a difficult job when there are new institutions coming up every other day. However by following our rating scheme, we bring to you the top engineering colleges in India.

Our methodology is generally based on a preliminary search for the publications and citations in international databases eg. Thomson Reuter’s Web of Science and Elsevier’s Scopus. The intellectual property rights are searched on the Indian Patent Office database. The Colleges on the list are then generally rated by their cut-offs, academic environment, placements and also by their infrastructure. You can use our ratings as an analysis to shortlist colleges and to do further research about them before you select the right campus to apply for.
