The Union Public Service Commission is the official conducting body of the NDA 2017. The National Defence Academy is a national level entrance examination held for recruiting potential candidates for the Indian Defence forces that include the Indian Army, Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force. The NDA Exam is conducted twice every year. The candidates seeking to join the Indian Defence Forces must take the NDA 2017. The candidates need to fill the NDA 2017 Application form in order to write the exam. The eligibility criteria must be strictly adhered to before attempting to fill the form. If the candidates do not come under the eligibility criteria their application forms are likely to be rejected at the verification stage of the forms. To ensure that such issues don’t take place, the candidates are required to go through the eligibility criteria for the NDA 2017 carefully before filling the form for the same.
Eligibility Criteria
• The candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan/Tibetan migrant.
• The candidates must be unmarried.
• The candidate must be born before 2nd July 1997 and not later than 1st July 2000.
• Candidates seeking recruitment in the Indian Army must have passed their 12th class exams from a recognized Board.
• Candidates seeking recruitment in the Indian Navy/Air force must have passed their class 12th exam with Physics and Mathematics as core subjects.
Application Procedure
• The application forms are available from 18 january 2017 till 10th Feb 2017.
• The candidates must make sure they fill and submit their forms before the due date.
• The NDA 2017 Application form will be released online by the UPSC.
• The candidates can fill the form on the official UPSC website.
• Visit the official UPSC website and click on the appropriate link indicating ‘NDA 2017 Application form’.
• Register by giving your personal details and proceed towards filling the form.
• Make sure you enter valid information or your form will be rejected at the verification stage of the forms.
• The application process will not be complete without the payment of the application fees.
• The fees can be paid online using Net banking/Credit card/ Debit card.
