IBPS conducts IBPS Clerk 2015 to fill up the many Clerical posts in 23 public sector banks over the India. The online examination is split into two phases – Preliminary and Primary test. The candidates who qualify the on-line preliminary exam are called for online main exam and after qualifying it the nominees are made at any of the participating banks.

Nominees’ shortlisting is based on the IBPS Clerk 2015 Cutoff declared by the IBPS. The minimum cutoff is determined by IBPS as well as the quantity of the vacancies available is the basis of the quantity of candidates qualifying the exam.
