NEET 2016 Admit Card will be available from 8 July 2016 for the candidates who have applied for appearing in NEET Phase II 2016. The exam will be held on 24 July 2016 across the country to offer admission in MBBS and BDS program in various participating institutes. The admit card will not be sent in post or courier to any candidate’s residential address and it can only be downloaded from the official website of the exam. To download the Admit Card for NEET 2017, few basic details will be asked such as application number, password, and date of birth.
Purpose of NEET Admit Card 2016
Candidate will not be allowed to take the exam if he is not carrying the original admit card to the exam hall. Additionally, he will have to produce a valid photo ID proof such as aadhar card, ration card, driving license, or school ID card. The invigilator will check the details on the admit card to ensure that no impersonation is being carried out. The similar verification will be held at other stages of the admission process. Once the invigilator is satisfied, he will allow the candidate to take the exam. Another purpose of the NEET Admit Card 2016 is that it tells about the exam date, exam time, and exam venue address.

One can find the following information on the admit card – Name, father’s name, date of birth, category, photo, address, space for signature and thumb impression, application number, roll number, exam day and date, exam session time, exam venue address and code, space for pasting photo, space for invigilator’s signature, some instructions for the examination, and course applied for. All these details will be in accordance to the information provided in the application form by the candidate.
