CDS 2017- Check More Details

CDS Selection Procedure: complete information

  • Written Examination: The candidates who filled the applications forms before the last notified date were able to appear for the CDS Examination which was held on February, every year. The examination was based on MCQ format and was of 2 hours duration.
  • The candidates who will qualify in this written examination will further be called upon for Interview/ Intelligence Test/ Personality Test, the second stage of the selection procedure.
  • Interview/ Intelligence Test/ Personality Test: The candidates who qualified the written examination are interviewed personally by the selection officers of UPSC to judge their presence of mind and other skills. 
  • The candidates who will be selected by the officials in the interview round shall further be called up for their document verification.
  • Document Verification: Selected candidates documents like their mark sheets, graduation degree, age proof and other certificates and requisite documents are verified by the officials. If the documents are not authentic or complete then such candidates can be disqualified by the officials.

CDS Application Form 2017

The candidates should note that the Application form for the aforementioned exam will be released online on the website of UPSC and hence they should keep the following points in mind while prepping to fill the Application form of this all important exam.

  • The process of application has commenced on September 8, 2017.
  • Registration fee is Rs.200 for male and general category candidates. Relaxation is allotted to reserved category and women aspirants.
  • This form can be filled in online mode only.
  • The form for the CDS Exam 2017 can be filled in two parts.
  • The candidates have to fill the first part then pay the fee and then proceed towards the second part.

The fee can be paid online by credit/ debit card and offline by challan at SBI.

CSIR UGC NET 2017 Cutoff

CSIR UGC NET 2017 Cutoff – CSIR  had  conducted the NET exam to award the JRF in the month of June 2016. It will also be conducting the second leg of joint University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility test 2016 in the month of December to provide the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) to the qualified candidates. The notification for the same is expected to be released in the month of August 2016. The qualified candidates will be given JRF status at the national universities.
