JEE Advanced 2015 Exam Dates Notification

It is expected that JEE Advanced 2015 Exam will be conducted on 24 May 2015. As already mentioned JEE Advanced in the second phase of JEE therefore the candidates those who qualify the JEE Main exam will be able to appear in this exam. To qualify for JEE Advanced 2015 Exam candidates must score 20 percentile and must be included in top 1.5 lakh scorers.

JEE Advanced 2015 Eligibility Criteria:

There is a lengthy list that must be fulfilled by the candidates to appear in JEE Advanced 2015.

  • It is mandatory for candidates to qualify JEE Main 2015.
  • Candidate should secure position in top 1.5 lakh scorers of JEE Main 2015.Admission in IITs and ISM Dhanbad will be given to only those candidates who are in top 1.5 lakh scorers of JEE Main 2015 and have got 20 percentile in qualifying exam.
  • Applicant should be born on or after 1 October 1990, this is only for General and OBC candidates.
  • For SC/ST candidates above mentioned criteria is- should be born on 1 October 1985 (ST/SC/PwD).
  • Only two consecutive attempts are given to a candidates.
  • Candidates will be ineligible if they have appeared in qualifying exam in 2013 or earlier.
  • Candidate is ineligible if he/she has been earlier admitted to any IIT or ISM irrespective of the fact that they continued their course or not.
  • Admission will be given on the basis of All India Rank as well as top 20 percentile in qualifying exam.
  • If exam board do not provide information about top 20 percentile of respective year and category, candidates are required to produce certificate stating that they are within the circumference of top 20 percentile.
  • If candidate fails to produce certificate, CBSE percentile will be considered.
  • If candidates improve their marks in 2015 qualifying exam in comparison to 2014. Then 2015 cut off will be considered.
  • If candidate’s board assigns grade instead of marks. A certificate is to be produced by the candidate proving their grades to be equal to the qualifying marks.

JEE Advanced 2015 Application Form:

The steps for filling the application form of JEE Advanced 2015 are:

  1. Fill the details in the application form.
  2. Fill the exam centre choice and the language to write the exam.
  3. Upload all the required certificates.
  4. Make fees payment.

JEE Advanced 2015 Admit Card:

Admit card is quite important for JEE Advanced 2015 Exam. Candidates having their admit card will only be allowed to enter the hall. To download it:

  1. Visit the official website of JEE.
  2. Search and click the link for downloading the admit card.
  3. Enter the details required to download the admit card and enter the captcha code as well.
  4. Submit the details by clicking the ‘Submit” button and download the admit card.

JEE Advanced 2015 Pattern:

The pattern followed in JEE Advanced 2015 Exam is given in points below:

  • There will be two papers which must be solved by the candidates.
  • Each paper will be of 180 minutes.
  • All the papers will be available in both the languages (English and Hindi).
  • Paper will be objective type.
  • Some sections will be having negative marking for wrong answers.
  • Questions in exam will be asked from mathematics, chemistry and physics.
  • Applicants will be given carbonless papers (two sheets).
  • Either black or blue pen must only be used by the candidates.
  • The upper sheet must be submitted by them whereas the lower sheet can be taken by them.
