Cutoff Marks of UPSEE 2015

UPSEE 2015 Cutoff can be defined as minimum number of marks that a candidate must necessarily score to proceed further. That means, scoring equal to or more than cutoff marks will make candidate eligible to attend the counselling or else their journey ends as they will be disqualified.

The officials of the exam will decide the UPSEE 2015 Cutoff after considering various facts like previous year trend, level of examination, number of candidates appeared in the exam, types of questions asked, etc.
On the basis of cutoff candidates will be placed in a merit list which will decide the preference of the candidates to attend the counseling process. The candidates top in the list will be called first for the counselling. All in all these following things are considered prior to deciding the cutoff marks:

Total application for the exam.

  • Total candidates those who actually appeared in the exam.
  • Total number of colleges.
  • Available vacant seats in these colleges.
  • Reservation criteria followed by the University.
  • Level of exam.
  • The candidates those who fulfill the cutoff criteria will be able to proceed further for counselling and choice filling process.

Features of UPSEE 2015 Cutoff:

In year 2014, the cutoff percent was 25% for general category candidates and 20% for SC/ST candidates.
Best candidates are selected from the lot of total candidates those who applied for the exam.
Until and unless heavy changes are made in the pattern of exam and admission trends, no such changes are noticed in the cutoff marks.

Opening and closing ranks will be set by various colleges on the basis of cutoff marks. Candidates can visit their sites to check the admission details.

SSC CGL 2014 Cutoff, Scorecard

Staff Selection Commission is an organization that recruits staff for various governmental departments through various national level examinations such as CGL, CHSL and more. CGL stands for Combined Graduate Level exam. Through CGL, candidates are recruited to various Group B & C posts in different department of Indian Ministries. Candidates who score marks according to SSC CGL Cutoff are selected for further rounds i.e. Personal Interview/Skill Test. This article is all about the cutoff and other details related to it.
The SSC CGL 2014 exam was conducted on 19 and 26 October 2014. The level of exam was quite high, therefore, the expected cutoff for CGL 2014 is low. However, there is not much differences in cutoff marks as compared to previous year cutoff.  SSC CGL 2014 Cutoff will be issued along with the result of the exam. Result list comes in . Pdf format that comprises the roll number and name of the candidates.

Cutoff marks are the minimum marks that must be scored by the candidates to qualify in that particular exam. These marks are decided by the exam conducting officials to shortlist the best fit candidates for the post. It is decided after considering various aspects like level of exam, previous year cutoff, total number of candidates applied for exam, total attendance in exam, etc. All these facts play a vital role in deciding the cutoff marks.

The candidates those who fail to score marks as per the SSC CGL 2014 Tier 1 Cutoff will be disqualified and cannot appear in the second tier of SSC CGL 2014.

SSC will be releasing the cutoff after the declaration of result. Till then there is no other method to check the exact cutoff marks. Candidates can just only have an idea of the cutoff marks by checking the table given below. This table contains the expected SSC CGL 2014 tier 1 Cutoff marks. It has been prepared on the basis of previous year cutoff.

NOTE: The cutoff list given above is just tentative and must not be considered final until and unless any official declaration is made by SSC.

SCRA 2015 Admit Card Available on UPSC website

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the SCRA 2015 Admit Card on its website on 23 December 2014. UPSC will conduct the Special Class Railway Apprentice Examination on 18 January 2015 all over the country. SCRA Exam is conducted every year for the selection of candidates for appointment in the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Indian Railways.
The e-admit cards are download only through the official website of Union Public Service Commission. The applicant can only SCRA 2015 Admit Card from the official website only because it is clearly stated by the Commission that admit card will not be sent to any candidates personally via post or email etc.  Admit card is an indispensable document which every candidate is required to bring with them to their respective examination centre as mentioned on the admit card. The soft copy of the admit card will not be accepted under any circumstances.

To download the admit card, candidates will have to select any one of the following and enter the detail related to the one chosen by them –  
i.Registration Id
ii.Roll Number
iii.Name

After downloading the e-admit card, candidates are advised to carefully check the details mentioned on it. In case of any discrepancy found, you must immediately bring it to the notice of the Commission. It is important to note that in case photograph of the candidate is not printed clearly on the admit card then candidates must carry three identical photograph with them along with any one identity proof out of the following- Voter Id Card, Passport or Driving License at the venue of the Examination.

In case of any difficulty faced in downloading the SCRA 2015 Admit Card, you may contact the UPSC Facilitation Counter at 011-23385271, 011-23381125 and 011-23098543 on any working day between 10.00 AM and 5.00 PM.  It is important to note that Commission has issued the rejection letters citing the grounds of rejection of the application of the candidates through emails. Candidates should check their email account to know the reason of their rejection.

Important Instructions to follow-  
i.Commission in its press note has strictly mentioned that mobile phones are banned inside the premises of the examination centre so any candidate bringing mobile phone with them to the exam centre will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.
ii.Candidates should reach their exam venue as per the time of reporting mentioned in their SCRA Admit Card.
iii.Candidates must carry with them all the necessary documents mentioned in this article.
