How To Use JEE Main 2017 Answer Key?

This article will be providing all the details for JEE Main 2017 Answer Key so that candidates do not have to face any problem while downloading it. Details for using the answer key are provided below.

Before start checking their answers from the answer key candidates must gather the details for the marking scheme used by the board. They must check the marks allotted on correct answers and marks deducted for incorrect answer. Once they have completed all of their research for all the mentioned details then they must download the answer key. Then they have to cross check each of your answer with that in the answer key and mark yourself. If the answer is correct then applicants must write positive marks for that particular question and if the answer is incorrect then they must write negative marks as per the marking scheme. Repeat these steps for each and every attempted question, as un-attempted questions do not have any effect on the total marks.

When all the answers have been cross-checked then applicants will have to add all the marks in the paper. Add all the positive marks and subtract the negative marks from the total. These marks will be the approximate marks of the candidates that he/ she will be scoring in exam. Candidates must prefer official JEE Main Answer Key over the unofficial answer key as their might be some errors in unofficial answer key. Still, the marks calculated on the basis of answer key must not be considered final until and unless final result is declared by the board. Answer key is just to calculate the approximate marks.
