DU Cut Off 2015 for each of the college will be released in June/July 2015

Lakhs of students residing in Delhi and residing outside Delhi, aspire to seek admissions every year into one of the renowned Universities of India, Delhi University for pursuing their under graduate and post graduate level education. A public central University established in 1922 and located in Delhi namely, Delhi University is known for its high teaching and research standards and also for having eminent scholars as faculties. Class XII Board examination marks are taken as base for allotting admissions into the Delhi University colleges. After the declaration of the CBSE Board exam results 2015 of class 12th, DU will prepare and release the DU Cut Off 2015 list, separately for all the colleges affiliated to it. Almost 10 DU cutoff lists are issued every year by every Delhi University college as per the DU announced schedule for the purpose of allotting seat to most deserving student.

The main motive behind issuing the cut off list is to restrict/delimit the number of the students. The DU 2015 Cut Off  list will be announced by various colleges in the month of June or July 2015. A centralized OMR form is required to be filled in by all the students desirous of taking admissions into DU colleges. The form can be filled in both online and offline mode. The DU Cut Off 2015 list will also be uploaded on both, the DU official website and on the respective college official website. The cutoff list will also be pinned on the notice board of every DU college as and when it will be issued.

The cutoff list comprise of category wise marks for every course and discipline. All the students who will score the marks listed in the DU Cut Off list or more marks then listed will be given opportunity in first place to take admissions.The Cutoff list is prepared after analyzing the class XII board examination result. Quotas like ECA & sports quota are allowed to be availed by the students.

Such quotas prove advantageous in soughting DU admissions. Till the seats are not filled for any particular course, the DU cutoff marks for that course will be issued in the lists thus announced. But when the seats will be full for any course then the students may not find the cutoff marks for that course in the cutoff lists being issued. There may be mentioned “Admission closed” against that particular course for which the cutoff marks are not being issued in the successive DU Cutoff 2015 lists.
