JEE Advanced 2016 Expected cut off Marks

JEE Advanced 2016 Cutoff will be issued to delimit the number of candidates in the admission process. It is a selection parameter which restricts the number of candidates in the admission and ensures that quality of candidates is maintained in the premier engineering and technical institutes of the country. The finally selected candidates will be offered admission to 16 IITs and 1 ISM. Marks of the candidates in the exam will be declared on 13 June 2016 in online mode. Definition Of JEE Advanced Cutoff:

Cutoff is the benchmark of minimum marks which is necessary to be fulfilled by the candidate. If score of a candidate is less than the cutoff, he will not be included in the counselling and seat allotment process. If his score is equal to or more than the cutoff, he will be included in the merit list and called for counselling and seat allotment. Cutoff will be applied at several stages and it is necessary to cross every barrier for final admission. Cutoff can be later on applied in the form of ranking, where the process gets inverted. The candidate with rank lower than or equal to the cutoff rank will be sent further and the one with rank higher than the cutoff will be rejected.
