UPSC RELEASES IAS APPLICATION FORM 2016

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the IAS Application Form 2016. UPSC conducts the most prestigious examination for entry into various desirous Indian services like IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS etc. Every year around 5 lakh students, apply for the examination to get selected for this much respected service.

The IAS examination is divided into 3 stages: the Prelims, the Mains and the Personal Interview which is very rigorous in nature and demands exhaustive preparatory sessions.

IAS Application Form can be filled by the students by following very simple steps mentioned below:

Registration 1 & Registration 2


Registration 1:
Furnish all the personal details
following which the Id will get
generated after which move to part 2

Registration 2:
choose the exam u desire to fill
the application form for.
(IAS in your case)

Pay the Exam fee of Rs.100 either
online or through SBI Challan.

NOTE: There is no Examination fee for Female/SC/ST and Physically Handicapped students.

Candidates must keep in mind before filling the IAS 2016 Application Form  that there will be a cap on the number of candidates allotted to each examination centers except Chennai, Dishpur, Nagpur and Kolkata . The examination will be held at 125 centers across the country. The seats at the other centers will be filled on ‘first come-first serve’ basis. After the filling of these examination centers, they can be no longer accorded as choice centers by other candidates. The candidate will automatically be directed to the center, assigned by UPSC. So candidates are advised that they should fill IAS 2015Application Form at the earliest in order to receive center of their choice.

The date of the UPSC IAS 2016 examination is 07 August 2016 and UPSC is likely to release the E-admit card for the examination three weeks prior to the scheduled exam. Candidates are advised to keep many copies of the e-admit card as you will be asked to produce it at the times of IAS examination and for various later stages of selection process too. The Mains examination will be conducted by UPSC in the month of December, after the declaration of Preliminary test due to happen in August following which the qualified candidates will be asked to participate in the Personal interview which is the last of the three stage selection process.
