On 25 July 2016, the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) (re-test) was held. The result for the written exam is scheduled to be released on or before 17 August 2015. However, the date is tentative. The candidates qualifying in the written exam will be eligible for participating in the counselling. Through the AIPMT 2016 Counselling, the seats for medical courses will be allotted to candidates in various courses. The Counselling of AIPMT 2016 will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and Directorate General of Health Services.
Eligibility
To participate in the AIPMT 2016 Counselling, the candidates must fulfill the following conditions:
1. The candidate must qualify in the written exam.
2. The candidate must have a valid rank in AIPMT.
AIPMT 2016 Counselling Procedure
The following steps are required to be followed for AIPMT Counselling Procedure 2016:
1. Online Filling and Submission: The qualified candidates are required to access the official website of AIPMT and get registered for AIPMT 2016 Counselling Procedure. During the registration, the candidates are required to fill in their choices for colleges and courses, and their details.
2. Seat Allotment: In this round, the MCC issue a first list of seat allotment based on the merit. The candidates who are allocated seats are required to report at the authorized center.
3. Verification of Documents: At the time of reporting at the authorized center, the candidates are required to submit the required documents, both original and photocopies.
4. Reporting at the Centers for Admissions: After submission of documents, the candidates are required to complete the formalities for admission.
Note
1. The allotment of seats will be based on the availability of seats and the choices of the candidates.
2. If the candidate fails to report at the authorized center, then the seat will be allotted to another candidate.
3. Do not forget to skip any of the required document as failure to produce any document may lead to the cancellation of the candidature of particular candidate.
