GATE 2017 Eligibility Criteria

  • Those candidates who have completed their Masters degree in any branch of Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Applications or an equivalent are eligible to apply for GATE 2017.   • Candidates who have completed their 4 year Integrated Master’s degree Program in Engineering or Technology after finishing their B.Sc. are also eligible to take the GATE 2017. Those who are in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year can also apply provided their year of passing out is 2018.
  • Candidates who have their 5 year Integrated Masters Degree Program or Dual degree Program in Engineering or Technology are eligible to sit for the exam, as mentioned in GATE 2017 Eligibility. Those candidates who are in their 4th or 5th year can also apply provided their year of passing out is 2017.
  • Those candidates who have completed their integrated M.Sc. or their 5 year integrated B.S.-M.S. Program can take the Exam. Those candidates who are in their final year of the same can also apply provided their year of passing out is.

Other Pre-requisites

  • Those candidates who are still pursuing a course in college as mentioned in the list above, they must obtain the necessary certificates from their principal before filling the application form. These certificates will be required to be uploaded during the application process.
