The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Admission Test is a computer based test that is offered to candidates who would like to pursue an Integrated First Degree programme from BITS Pilani or its affiliated campuses located in Goa and Hyderabad. The test will be conducted over a period of time during the month of May and candidates who have registered for the test can take it at any time that they think suitable during the given time frame. This, of course, is subject to the availability of seats at the candidate’s nearest test centre and it is always advisable, therefore, for the BITSAT Slot Booking to be done at the earliest.
The window for BITSAT Slot Booking will be made active on 20 March. Candidates can learn about the available test centers through the main website for BITS Admissions i.e bitsadmission.com. Booking a slot for the BITS Admission Test is simple. All that candidates need to do is to log in using their application number, date of birth and gender after which they can directly proceed to schedule their test as per their convenience.
Candidates are to note, however, that many test centers of BITSAT may not offer the test on all the given dates. When scheduling their test, it is important, therefore, for candidates to make sure that their nearest test centre will hold the test on the date that they intend to appear for it. In case, any candidate is not able to secure a seat in the nearest test center of his/her first choice, then the candidate may be required to choose an alternate convenient test center. Once the BITSAT Slot Booking has been done, candidates will get an immediate confirmation of the same. Any requests for a change in the slot that has been already booked for the admission test will not be entertained under any circumstances.
