CAPF Admit Card 2017– Union Public Service Commission will be releasing the CAPF Admit Card 2017 by the June 22, 2017 for which the Application process has ceased. The examination for the same will be conducted on 23 July 2017. For downloading the admit card, the candidates need to visit the official website of UPSC and enter their requisite application form number and date of birth. Procedure to download the CAPF Admit Card 2017:

The candidates must note that their CAPF Admit card will get released on the website of UPSC and hence they must know the procedure involved in downloading their e-hall ticket for the CAPF Exam 2017.

Following instructions will help the candidates download their admit card easily:

  • The candidates will need to visit the official website of UPSC for which a direct link will be hosted here.
  • Once you are on the website, find a link which reads ‘CAPF AC Admit Card 2017’, click on the web link
  • The next page will appear. On this page, you need to read the instruction lay out there and click on the dialogue box titled ‘have you read the instructions regarding the download of e-admit card?’ click on YES to proceed further to next page.
  • On the next page, the candidates will be asked to choose any one of the option to download the CAPF Admit card 2017 from. The options will be:
    a)    By CAPF number
    b)    By Roll Number
    c)    By Name
  • Select any one of the options and furnish the information asked in the dialogue box. The admit card will get downloaded
  • Print the Admit card and keep it safe.

IBPS PO 2017 – Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will be conducting the online exam for Probationary Officers (PO) or Management Trainee (MT) posts in the 23 participating Banks in the month of October 7, 8, 14 & 15, 2017. Procedure to fill IBPS PO 2016 Application form

Candidates can apply Online onwards for the IBPS PO 2017 by following the mentioned methodology:

  • Log on to ibps.in and click on the link popping IBPS PO 2016 Exam.
  • On that particular page, click on Common Written Examination for PO 2017. Following which, click on ‘Apply Online’ tab.
  • Fill your registration details i.e. educational qualifications, age, sex, etc. and upload photograph, signature and click submit tab.

SSC CHSL Syllabus 2017 – Check Details

SSC CHSL Syllabus 2017 – The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be conducting the examination for the Combined Higher Secondary Level to select candidates for the Post of LDC and DEO in the month of November or December. Details as per the SSC CHSL 2016 Exam pattern:

The CHSL Examination will be conducted by the SSC in two parts namely the Part 1 and Part 2. In the Part 1, there will be a common written test and in the Paper 2, there will be separate test for the post of LDC and DEO in the form of Skill Test and Typing Test. the exam pattern has been given in detail in following sections as per the Parts.

CBSE UGC NET 2017 Notification

CBSE has issued notification for the National Eligibility Test (NET) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Assessment to be conducted on November 5, 2017.
Eligible candidates can apply online for UGC-WEB Test from November 5, 2017.

National Eligibility Test (NET)-2017

Junior Research Fellowship / Qualifications for Lectureships
On behalf of UGC, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) shall hold the National Eligibility Test (NET) on November 5, 2017 for ascertaining the qualifications of Indian Nationals for the Qualification for Assistant Professor just or Junior Research Fellowship & Qualifications for Assistant Professor Both in Indian Universities and Schools.
CBSE will run NET in 83 areas at 88 chosen Cities of Assessment disperse across the country
The candidates who qualify for the award of Junior Research Fellowship are qualified to pursue research in the area of the post-commencement or in a related area and may also be entitled to Assistant Professor. The universities, associations, IITs and other national organizations may choose the JRF awardees for entire time research work relative to the process prescribed by them
The award of JRF and Qualifications for Assistant Professor both OR Qualifications for Assistant Professor just depends on the functionality of the nominee in all three papers of WEB
On the other hand, the candidates qualifying only for Assistant Professor is not going to be considered for award of JRF Junior Research Fellowship

Candidates qualifying for the award of Junior Research Fellowship will meet the requirements to get fellowship of UGC under various schemes, subject to their own locating placement in universities/IITs/associations
The validity interval of the offer is two years w.e.f. the date of issue of JRF Award Letter. Nevertheless, in case the nominees that have already joined M.Phil / PhD, the date of commencement of fellowship shall be from the date of announcement of NET result or date of the joining, whichever is after Scheme and Assessment Program

The Evaluation will consist of three papers. All the three papers will contain only objective type questions and will be held onNovember 5, 2017
First (Paper-I): 100 Marks (60 out of which 50 questions to be tried) [Duration: 1¼ Hours (09.30 am to 10.45 am, IST)]
Second (Paper II): 100 Marks (50 questions all are compulsory) [Duration: 1¼ Hours (11.15 am to 12.30 pm, IST)]
Third (Paper III): 150 Marks (75 questions all are compulsory) [Duration: 2½ Hours (02.00 pm to 04.30 pm, IST)]
All the issues of Paper-II and Paper-III will be compulsory, covering whole syllabus (including all electives, without alternatives)
The nominee must mark the answers for questions of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet supplied alongwith the test pamphlet

UGC WEB Qualification Standards

Nominees that have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree (Or) equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC (list attached page No.22 to 48) in Humanities (including Languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc (list of areas of place graduation attached at page No. 18 to 19) are eligible for this Test
Another Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to Non-creamy Layer/SC/ST/PWD Type candidates that have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination meet the criteria with this Test
Candidates that have seemed OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still expected or candidates whose qualifying tests have already been delayed may additionally apply with this test
Nevertheless, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered qualified for award of Junior Research Fellowship/qualifications for Assistant professor just after they’ve passed their Master’s Degree Examination (Or) equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of OBC(Non-creamy layer) / SC/ ST /PWD (Persons with Disability) class nominees
Such nominees must finish their PG Degree Examination within two years from your date of NET result with necessary percentage of marks, failing which they’ll be treated as disqualified
The PhD Degree holders whose Master’s Amount Assessment had been finished by 19th September 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall meet the requirements for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in CBSE NET.
Nominees are guided to appear in the area of the post graduation just. The nominees, whose place graduation area just isn’t covered in the list of areas in item No.14 (on page 12-13), may seem in a related area
Nominees are neither required to send any certificates/records in support of the qualifications nor printout of the Application Form (Verification Page) to CBSE
Nominees having postgraduate diploma/certificate given by Indian University/Institute or foreign degree/diploma/certificate given by the foreign University/institute should in their own interest, determine the equivalence of the diploma/degree/certification with Master’s degree of established Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi

Age Limit & Easiness

(i) Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years as on 01st July 2017. A easiness up to 5 years is supplied to the candidates belonging to OBC (Non-creamy layer, depending on the Central list of OBC accessible on web site http://www.ncbc.nic.in) SC/ST/PWD groups and to girls applicants

CDS 2017 -Check Here

CDS 2017 – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting the second Leg of the two CDS examinations in the month of November 19, 2017 for which the Application procedure has commenced from 9 August 2017.  All the details regarding the CDS Application form 2017 have been mentioned in the following article and all the aspirants are required to go through the details thoroughly.

The important dates for CDS 2 2017 are as follows:

  • Date of issue of notification: 9 August 2017
  • Last date for filling up of Application form: September 8, 2017
  • Date of Issue of Admit card: Last week of October or first week of November

CDS Selection Procedure: complete information

  • Written Examination: The candidates who filled the applications forms before the last notified date were able to appear for the CDS examination which was held on February, every year. The examination was based on MCQ format and was of 2 hours duration. 
  • The candidates who will qualify in this written examination will further be called upon for Interview/ Intelligence Test/ Personality Test, the second stage of the selection procedure.
  • Interview/ Intelligence Test/ Personality Test: The candidates who qualified the written examination are interviewed personally by the selection officers of UPSC to judge their presence of mind and other skills. 
  • The candidates who will be selected by the officials in the interview round shall further be called up for their document verification.
  • Document Verification: Selected candidates documents like their mark sheets, graduation degree, age proof and other certificates and requisite documents are verified by the officials. If the documents are not authentic or complete then such candidates can be disqualified by the officials.

CDS Application Form 2017

The candidates should note that the Application form for the aforementioned exam will be released online on the website of UPSC and hence they should keep the following points in mind while prepping to fill the Application form of this all important exam:

  • The process of application has commenced on 9 August 2017.
  • Registration fee is Rs.200 for male and general category candidates. Relaxation is allotted to reserved category and women aspirants.
  • This form can be filled in online mode only.
  • The form for the CDS Exam 2017 can be filled in two parts.
  • The candidates have to fill the first part then pay the fee and then proceed towards the second part.
  • The fee can be paid online by credit/ debit card and offline by challan at SBI.

CDS Exam Pattern 2017

It is important to read and understand the syllabus and the pattern of CDS 2017 Exam before commencing the preparation. This encircles the basic format and the marking scheme which is to be followed in the exam and set by exam authority.

  • This exam will be held in offline mode.
  • 33 marks will be subtracted as the negative marking for wrong answers.
  • For IMA, AFA, NA, there are 3 sections namely English, general knowledge and elementary mathematics. Each section consists of 100 marks. 6 hours will be allotted to solve the CDS 2017.

For OTA, there are 2 sections. Each consists of 100 marks. 4 hours will be provided to solve the exam.
