UPSC CDS Exam Paper Design

CDS 2017 Exam Pattern is an objective kind paper design which contains General knowledge 03 areas English and Elementary Mathematics and Absolute of marks is 300. All areas have same 100 marks and time duration of CDS 1 exam is 02 hours. And Participants that are appearing for Officer Training Exam (OTA Exam) they confront English and General Knowledge paper just. Note:- Simple math paper & CDS General Knowledge Paper will probably be place in both language English and Hindi.

Maximum marks for SSB Interview and for CDS written exam will soon be same for all classes. And Maximum marks will probably be given in written exam and SSB Interview is 300 each for AFA , IMA , INA. And Maximum 200 marks for OTA Exam. Just Competent nominees of written exam are allowed for Second round exam of Interview. And in both exams 1 nominees must qualify for final result. written exam 2. SSB Evaluation. For value capable nominees will likely be put after closing qualification based on keep marks in both evaluation amounts.

CDS 2017 – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting the second Leg of the two CDS examinations in the month of November 19, 2017 for which the Application procedure has commenced from 9 August 2017.  All the details regarding the CDS Application form 2017 have been mentioned in the following article and all the aspirants are required to go through the details thoroughly.

The important dates for CDS 2 2017 are as follows:

• Date of issue of notification: 9 August 2017
• Last date for filling up of Application form: September 8, 2017
• Date of Issue of Admit card: Last week of October or first week of November
• Date of Exam: November 19, 201716
• Declaration of Written Exam result: January 2018
• Conduct of SSB Interview: February-March 2018

CDS Selection Procedure: complete information

• Written Examination: The candidates who filled the applications forms before the last notified date were able to appear for the CDS examination which was held on February, every year. The examination was based on MCQ format and was of 2 hours duration. 
• The candidates who will qualify in this written examination will further be called upon for Interview/ Intelligence Test/ Personality Test, the second stage of the selection procedure.
• Interview/ Intelligence Test/ Personality Test: The candidates who qualified the written examination are interviewed personally by the selection officers of UPSC to judge their presence of mind and other skills. 
• The candidates who will be selected by the officials in the interview round shall further be called up for their document verification.
• Document Verification: Selected candidates documents like their mark sheets, graduation degree, age proof and other certificates and requisite documents are verified by the officials. If the documents are not authentic or complete then such candidates can be disqualified by the officials.

CDS Application Form 2017

The candidates should note that the Application form for the aforementioned exam will be released online on the website of UPSC and hence they should keep the following points in mind while prepping to fill the Application form of this all important exam:

• The process of application has commenced on 9 August 2017.
• Registration fee is Rs.200 for male and general category candidates. Relaxation is allotted to reserved category and women aspirants.
• This form can be filled in online mode only.
• The form for the CDS Exam 2017 can be filled in two parts.
• The candidates have to fill the first part then pay the fee and then proceed towards the second part.
• The fee can be paid online by credit/ debit card and offline by challan at SBI.

CDS Exam Pattern 2017

It is important to read and understand the syllabus and the pattern of CDS 2017 Exam before commencing the preparation. This encircles the basic format and the marking scheme which is to be followed in the exam and set by exam authority.

• This exam will be held in offline mode.
• 33 marks will be subtracted as the negative marking for wrong answers.
• For IMA, AFA, NA, there are 3 sections namely English, general knowledge and elementary mathematics. Each section consists of 100 marks. 6 hours will be allotted to solve the CDS 2017.

For OTA, there are 2 sections. Each consists of 100 marks. 4 hours will be provided to solve the exam.
