UPTET is an exam conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board. Candidates those who qualify the exam will be selected as teacher in UP government. UPTET is the basic eligibility test which must be qualified by the candidates to get recruited as teacher in school. After qualifying UPTET 2017 candidates will have to qualify the BTC or VBTC as well to be eligible for teaching posts. The notification for exam was released in the 25 October 2017. All the details regarding the exam will be available in this notification.
UPTET will recruit primary teachers for class I to class V whereas Upper Primary Teacher from class VI to class VIII. For primary teachers candidates will have to pass Paper 1 and for Upper Primary Teacher candidates need to qualify Paper 2. The application forms for UPTET 2017 Exam will be available from 13 September 2017. The expected date of exam is 15 October 2017. Result of the exam will be released on November 2017.
Candidates those who want to appear in the exam will have to fill and submit their application form before the last date. Before that they must also satisfy the eligibility criteria that is required for the exam. Candidates must satisfy each and every conditions for UPTET 2017 notification otherwise they will not be considered eligible for the exam.
UPTET 2017 Eligibility Criteria:
The various conditions of eligibility which must be satisfied by the candidates before filling the application form are provided here. They must check each and every section very carefully and make sure that they are completely eligible otherwise the form will not be accepted.
For primary teachers in UPTET notification 2017, candidates must have completed their graduation with minimum of 50% marks and also 2 year of diploma in special education or BTC training from Uttar Pradesh. Candidates those who have done four years of diploma in elementary education will also be eligible.
If applying for the post of Upper Primary teacher, then candidates must have completed their graduation with atleast 50% marks and also one year degree in elementary education or BTC training from UP or 2 year program in CT(Nursery)/ BTC/NTT.
Steps To Apply For UPTET 2017:
Now the candidates those who are eligible can fill and submit their application for the exam. Application will be available via online mode. Candidates must make sure that the details provided by them are correct and complete in all respect.
The steps given below can be followed by them to complete their application process.
1. Visit the official website of Uttar Pradesh Education Board.
2. Click the link for UPTET online application form.
3. Generate a challan form and pay UPTET application fees.
4. Enter all registration details and submit the application form.
5. Take a copy of fees receipt and submitted application form as well.
UPTET 2017 Application Fees:
General and OBC candidates need to pay 400/- as application fees for UPTET 2017. Whereas the candidates belonging to SC, ST categories will have to pay 200/- as application fees.
