Union Public Service Commission conducts CDS II exam 2017 every year for the candidates those who are interested for the post of Assistant Commandant in Defence forces. Candidates those who are selected in this exam gets various benefits and respect after their recruitment. Notification for CDS II 2017 will be released on 9 August 2017. Candidates those who are interested and eligible for the exam can check all the details in the notification and apply for the exam before the last date of application. It will be an offline exam and is expected to be conducted on 1 19, November 2017.
Important Dates For CDS II 2017
The notification and the application forms of CDS-II for the exam will be released on 9 August 2017. Last date for submitting the application form is 8 September 2017. Any application received after that will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Now the candidates those who are interested must first check the eligibility criteria for the exam as without being eligible, they cannot appear in the exam.
Eligibility Criteria For CDS II 2017
To appear in CDS II 2017, candidates will have to fulfill all the eligibility criteria mentioned in this section. If even a single condition remains unfulfilled then their application will not be accepted. To be eligible:
1. Candidates must have accomplished their graduation degree from a recognized university or any other equivalent for OTA and IMA.
2. Must have completed their Engineering for NVA.
3. Must have completed graduation with Mathematics and Physics as main subjects for AFA.
CDS II 2017 Application Form
The application form for CDS II 2017 will be available on the official website of UPSC. Candidates will have to fill and submit the form with all the correct details and submit it before the last date of form submission. Candidates must also go through all the general instructions before filling up the form. If any mistake is encountered, then their form will be rejected straight away. To submit the application form, candidates can take the help of steps mentioned below:
1. Visit the official website of UPSC.
2. Search and click the link for application form on homepage.
3. Enter all the details that are asked in the form. These details must be correct and complete in all aspect.
4. Upload the required images as per the given instructions.
5. Submit the form and proceed for fees payment.
6. Take a copy of application form and fee receipt as well, for any future reference.
Application fee for CDS II 2017 is 200/-. Candidates can pay this fees either via online mode or by offline mode as well. Online fees can be paid using credit or debit card, net banking and offline fees can be paid as cash at any nearest SBI branch.
CDS II 2017 Admit Card
The candidates those who have successfully submitted their application for CDS II 2017 exam will have to download their admit card to appear in exam. Admit card will be available three weeks prior to the exam date.
Final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in written exam, document verification, interview or personality test, medical examination. Candidates will have to qualify all the stages for final selection.
