DRDO Recruitment 2016 – Defense Research and development Organization will be conducting the recruitment for the various posts through a recruitment test in the month of July. DRDO offers exciting and challenging career opportunities in very broad spectrum of subjects/ disciplines at its more than 60 laboratories/ length and breadth of the country. Applying ONLINE is mandatory for the post of STA-‘B’, Technician ‘A’ , Junior Translator, Stenographer Grade II, Admin Assistant in Part 1 and optional for all other posts mentioned in Part 2. To fill the DRDO Recruitment 2016 Application form, the candidates require to visit the official website of DRDO.

The recruitment brochure for the DRDO Recruitment 2016 was released in three parts, the details of which has been given here:
Part 1 A: SENIOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT ‘B’ (STA ‘B’) – Pay Band: PB-2, `9300-34800 (Grade Pay 4200/-)
In this part of the application form, the recruitment itineraries were provided for the candidates of Technical department to be filled solely by engineering graduates. The division of vacancy are as  follows:

  • SC – 70
  • ST- 44
  • OBC – 149
  • General – 301
  • Total – 584

Part 1 B: TECHNICIAN -‘A’ (TECH -‘A’) – Pay Band: PB-1, `5200-20200 (Grade Pay `1900/-)
In this pay scale, the recruitments will made for the candidates in the second tier of technical assistance. The division of vacancies are as follows:

  • SC-  53
  • ST-  27
  • OBC- 80
  • GENERAL -185
  • TOTAL -345

Part 1 C – ADMIN & ALLIED

In this part, the recruitment to be made were for the posts mentioned below:

  • Junior Translator
  • Stenographer Grade II
  • Admin Assistant A (English Typing)
  • Admin Assistant A (Hindi Typing)
  • Store Assistant A (English Typing)
  • Store Assistant A (Hindi Typing)

The vacancy details are as follows:

  • SC – 18
  • ST – 10
  • OBC – 30
  • General – 115
  • Total – 193
  • Part 1 D – Admin Allied

The subordinate vacancies in this department were:

  • Assistant Halwai cum cook
  • Vehicle Operator

Procedures to Download DRDO Admit Card 2016

  • All candidates who had applied online form are requested to visit official site. They can directly visit the website or click on the link of the admit card provided in the website of Entrance Corner.
  • Navigate to home page, click on Admit Card of DRDO Admit Card 2016 link and open it.
  • Enter required information related to Registration Number, Application ID, Birth Date (DD/MM/YYYY) and Captcha Code.
    Now click on SUBMIT button after verifying all details.
  • Download you admission receipt as PDF file format and Save on your PC.

After the declaration of the written exam result, the candidates would be called for a personal Interview and they would be screened their. The final merit list would then be released by accumulating the performance of the candidates in the written exam as well as in the personal Interview.
