Kerala TET 2015 Notification Details

The Kerala TET (Teachers Eligibility Test) ) exam is scheduled to be run in October. For choosing nominees for various empty places of Teacher in government schools of Kerala state, the exam is performed by the authorities of Kerala.
Nominees who scores 60 percent or more in the K TET test will probably be considered passed in the exam. Additionally, there will probably not be any punishment for incorrect answers. Pareeksha Bhavan will release the notification about the date, time, duration and other details related to KTET 2015.

Qualification standards

The evaluations will be for four groups:

Teacher for Lower Main courses (Class I):

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45 per cent marks and two year Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) or two years Diploma in Elementary Education. Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 per cent marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or two years Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Teacher for Upper Primary courses (Category II):

B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. with minimal 45 per cent marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) or one year Bachelors in Education (B.Ed.)

Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 per cent marks and 4 years Bachelors in Elementary Education or B.A/B.Sc./B.Ed

Teacher for High School courses (Category III):

BA/B.Sc/B.Com with at least 45 per cent marks and a B.Ed. Degree in the area concerned.

For Math, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, those who’ve MSc.Ed. Degree in the area concerned with not less than 50 per cent marks from one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by NCERT will be eligible to use.

Language teacher up to Upper Primary courses (Category IV):

Those who’ve obtained qualifications for the places of Language Teachers of Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit & Urdu (up to Upper Primary amount), Specialist teachers & Physical Education teachers as stated in Chapter XXXI of KERALA EDUCATION ACT AND RULES are qualified to apply for K-TET IV.

Nominees, that have obtained in teaching in almost any area, Certification/ Diploma/ Degree, and are accepted by Universities/NCTE/ Board of Assessments/ Government of Kerala, are qualified to use.

The best way to use

Application fee:

An application fee of Rs 500 must be paid by the nominees. SC/ST category candidates must pay Rs 250.

Keep the print out of the same and the nominees are required to apply online for this exam.

Significant dates

The final date for submission of the application forms is August 20.

The admit cards will be available from September 16 to September 26.
