CDS Result 2017 – Union Public Service Commission has just concluded first of the two CDS 1 Exam 2017 on 5th February 2017. The examination was conducted in three sessions on the same day and its result is highly anticipated by the candidates who took the prestigious test. UPSC will be declaring the CDS 1 Result 2017 (February Session) to be notified. - UPSC will be declaring the CDS Result 2017 on its official website which is upsconline.nic.in
- The candidates will have to visit the website to check their result.
- No candidates will be told their result rather they will have to search their roll number in the PDF sheet provided there.
- They will have to download the PDF result sheet and keep it for the further purposes.
Procedures to view the CDS Result 2017:
The candidates should note that the UPSC will be declaring the CDS Result 2017 on its website. Hence the candidates must know the procedures involved in checking the Result. The following instructions will help the candidates check their CDS Result 2017 easily:
- First of all the candidates will have to visit the official website of UPSC which is upsconline.nic.in
- On the homepage, search for the appropriate link of the Result. The link might be titled as ‘UPSC CDS 1 Result 2017’, click on the link
- On the next page the result will get downloaded in the form of PDF.
- Try finding your roll number or click Ctrl+F and type the roll number, it will get highlighted.
- Take the print out of the sheet and keep it for the further use.
Note: The candidates will be send the official Result as well as the complete schedule for the Interview and the concerned center of interview.
Follow Up after the CDS Result 2017:
Once the CDS Result gets declared in the month of September 2017, the candidates will be send a call letter to participate in a five day Interview conducted by the service Selection Board. The candidates will be given the schedule according to their preferred choice of Army, Air force and Navy. Once they reach the Interview site, they will be screened through a general session and many of the candidates will be rejected that day only. The rest of the candidates will be undergoing the tests and selections which will end with a conference meeting or say a direct interview.
The candidates qualifying in the Interview will then be told to go and participate in the Medical examination at the Command hospitals under the guidance of the SSBs. The final merit list will be made according to the performance of candidates in written, interview and the Medical examination. Candidates can check the CDS 1 Cutoff 2017 to get a better look at the marks required to qualify in the Examination.
