About the Kakatiya University
Constituted on 19 August 1976, the Kakatiya University aims to fulfil the educational aspirations of the pupils of Telangana for higher education. The University was formerly known as PG Centre of Osmania University and was upgraded and renamed Kakatiya University. The NAAC awarded the University with B+ grade in 2002 and reaccredited with A grade six years later also in 2008.
