VITEEE 2015 cut off will be determined by VITEEE committee. Cut off is always declared after VITEEE is being held. Cut off provides, to candidates, a clear idea about their performance in the exam and they can know whether they qualified the exam or not by comparing their estimated marks with cut off.
VITEEE 2015 Cut off is the minimum marks which a candidate should obtain in order to secure a position in merit list. Candidates who are unable to achieve marks equivalent to cut off will be disqualified or will be declared as failed and will not be called for counselling round.
Cut off is determined by VITEEE official body. VITEEE cut off is determined on the basis of various factors. Factors which determine the cut off are: number of application received, number of applicants who appeared for the exam, performance of candidates in the exam, previous year cut off, pattern of exam, difficulty level of exam etc. Cut off and performance of applicants (as a whole), in an exam, are proportional to each other. Better the performance of the candidates, higher will be the cut off and poorer the performance of candidates, lower will be the cut off. To note is, that the gross performance affects cut off, individual’s performance has no effect on the cut off. Performance of all the candidates is taken into consideration while determining the cut off.
